Box Stitch PatternWith "Box" Stitch Pattern the stitching is carried across the strap at the lugs thus forming a box. This is my standard stitch pattern so chances are, if you don't specify a preference, this is the pattern that you will receive. Also known as "Closed" stitch pattern.
  Dead End Stitch PatternWith the "Dead End" Stitch Pattern the stitching ends at the lugs and is not carried across. Also known as "Open" stitch pattern.
  Historic Stitch PatternThe "Historic" Stitch Pattern has minimal stitching at the lug and at the buckle ends of the strap. Looks great on a Vintage Military straps as those straps have so much character anyways. It's a nice clean look that is very comfortable. Works with other leathers as well. I can also build the straps without any stitching at all.
